“If My Boss Compels Me To Support For Fourth Term Agenda, I Will Resign” – Media Aide To Badagry LGA Chairman
Samuel Olalekan Sewedo, Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, to the Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Hon Segun Onilude has said he will resign his appointment if his boss compels him to support any elected official’s fourth term agenda.
Making the statement via his Facebook handle, Sewedo wrote, “If Hon. Olusegun Onilude compel me to support fourth term agenda, I will resign… Enough is Enough”.
Even though he did not mention the politician nursing the fourth term agenda, sources in the ancient city of Badagry are of the opinion that the jab is meant for Olanrewaju Ibrahim Layode, popularly known as OIL.
Olanrewaju who is a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress and currently serving as a third term member of Lagos House of Assembly representing Badagry Constituency 1, in the view of many electorate does not deserve a fourth term.
Those opposed to his fourth term bid said he has underrepresented the people of Badagry 1 and wanted he out of the race come 2019 so as to present people with fresh ideas.
