Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has reacted to the viral video showing an awkward moment between her and colleague Funke Akindele at a Iyabo Ojo movie premiere in Lagos.
The clip, which has circulated widely on social media, appeared to show Abraham approaching Akindele in a friendly manner, but receiving little or no response from her after greeting others.
In what many see as her first response to the incident, Abraham shared a message on social media that was later deleted. In the post, she wrote:
“I have unfollowed her… If I ever greet her again…”
Although the message was quickly taken down, screenshots have continued to trend online, fuelling conversations among fans and observers of Nollywood.
The actress is also reported to have unfollowed Akindele on social media, a move often interpreted by followers as a sign of personal disagreement.
Both actresses are regarded as leading figures in Nollywood, with a history of successful productions and strong fan followings.
As a result, even subtle interactions between them tend to attract significant public interest.
