iCare Foundation Facilitates Training of 150 Constituents At Nigeria Armed Forces Resettlement Centre
iCare Foundation, the social intervention and engagement arm of Rep. Babajimi Benson, has commenced the training of 150 Constituents whose training were facilitated with the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, Oshodi.
The two-week long training will see the participants get trained in their area of choice ranging from Crop Production, Animal Husbandry, Bakery/Confectionery and Photography, Cosmetic, Paint making and Car spraying, according to information made available by the House of Representatives member representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency,
Commenting about the programme via his official social media handle yesterday (Tuesday), the Chairman, House Committee of Defence said that he is excited the participants have all resumes officially to the camp and have commenced their training.
“It was super excitement today (Tuesday) as my team from iCare Foundation visited the 150 shortlisted candidates for entrepreneurship training at the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC) Oshodi.
“The participants who resumed to camp officially on Sunday, 20th March 2022 were met in high morale and are glad to be a part of the 2 weeks training with specialization on Crop Production, Animal Husbandry, Bakery/Confectionery, Photography, Cosmetic, Paint making and Car spraying,” he wrote.
He went further to encourage the applicants to be of best behaviour while at the camp and learn the rudiments required to become their own Bosses.
“It is our hope that the training will further expose the participants to the rudiments of their speciality and further empower the youths as job creators,” Rep. Babajimi Benson, averred.
