By “I SIGNED DAVIDO TO HIS FIRST OFFICIAL CONTRACT” ASHAFA
Serial investor and social entrepreneur, Basheer Tosin Ashafa popular known as BTA, has said he signed Davido to his first official contact.
The Son of the immediate past Senator for Lagos East Senatorial District, Senator Gbenga Ashafa made the assertion in response to a tweet on Twitter.
@bevtgooden had written on the mini-blogging site, “Tweet your most random music fact” when Ashafa responded that he signed Davido to his contract and Davido’s billionaire father, Dr Adeleke had to buy Ashafa and his silent partner out of the contract when he realised Davido was serious enough to manage himself.
“I signed Davido to his 1st contract under black diamond promotions with Cacil Hammond/ another silent partner, we hired Godwin Tom to manage him. Dr Adeleke realized David was really serious without him, reached out to us and bought us out”.
