Popular Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, also known as Wizkid, has recently been hospitalized, leaving many of his fans curious to know what happened to him.
In a post on Tuesday evening, through his Instagram page, Wizkid shared a photo of his hand attached to a drip syringe, spurring up questions amongst his fans as regards to his ailment.
However, according to DailyPost, the singer, in a follow-up post, which is now deleted, gave reasons for his ailment.
According to the post, DailyPost reported that the singer had consumed fake substances.
Giving more insight, the singer wrote, “Fake Igbo dey, fake yansh dey.”

In the same vein, Nigerians who didn’t see this post concluded that the singer got ill due to his recent visit to Lagos.
The singer shared the status of his health, days after he visited Surulere and Makoko to donate the sum of N100 million to less priviledged children to for Christmas.
Also, Wizkid recently caused a buzz when he and his counterpart, Davido decided to link up at a popular nightclub in Lagos State.
Videos, which surfaced last Monday, showed the Grammy winner walking the streets with his crew and some security escorts while getting a warm welcome from the residents.
Some netizens have therefore concluded that he got ill from the stress he went through in the last few days.
