An uncompleted building suspected to be a kidnappers den has been uncovered beside the Ondo State House of Assembly.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that the unfinished two storey building is situated along the Alagbaka area of the state capital, a few metres from the Assembly complex.
Drama started when a security operative unknowingly shot at a bird on a three. This caused commotion as some people ran out of the building for fear of apprehension.
Some of these people were however accosted by those in the neigbourhood.
According to an eyewitness account, “the suspects probably thought that the gunshot was from policemen who came for them. They fled, but some motorcycle riders in the area chased and arrested four of them, who were handed over to the police.”
The house BlackBox Nigeria has been told belong to a retired civil servant who hasnt been identified.
A raid carried out by the Police in the building led to the discovery of female underwears, slippers and cooking utensils. Also discovered were mattresses, tootbrushes and many other domestic items.
The spokesman of the Ondo Police command, Femi Joseph has however revealed that until invetigations are concluded, there is no way to ascertain if they are ritual killers or not.
