How Speaker Uses Proxy Company To Get N17m As Monthly Maintenance For Personal Residence, Office & Guest House
There is a developing story that the Honourable Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Mudashiru Obasa has been using a proxy company to get a whooping N17m as monthly maintenance for his personal office, residence and guest house.
According to findings by Sahara Reporters, a company suspected to belong to the Speaker named Extremely Logistics and Cleaning Services Ltd was awarded the contract of managing the office of the Speaker, his residence and also guest house. The company is also responsible for providing essential materials needed for the three facilities.
It was gathered that the company which is presently headed by one Omoba Adeyinka Oyediran was registered at the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2015, same period Obasa became the Speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly.
Also, documents sighted revealed that the company placed bid for the contract at a value of N25m but N17m was later approved and payments started in February 2018 as a receipt of payment into its account domiciled in Wema Bank.
