How Former Konga CEO Jumped From Balcony Killing Himself, Details Of Those He Called

Tragedy struck on Tuesday, June 25, as former CEO of Konga, Nick Imudia, reportedly took his own life by jumping from the balcony of his Lekki, Lagos apartment.

This devastating incident has left friends, family, and associates in mourning.

Before his tragic act, Imudia had a poignant conversation with his brother in the United States, giving instructions on how to distribute his wealth. He also spoke with his young daughter from a previous marriage, telling her he would always be with her in spirit and that she could look to the sky to find him.

Imudia’s marriage to his first wife, with whom he shared his daughter, ended in divorce due to irreconcilable differences. His second marriage to a Caucasian woman also ended in divorce, leaving him feeling isolated and disconnected from his loved ones.

Imudia, who hailed from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State, was a renowned entrepreneur and business leader. He was former CEO of Konga, Nigeria’s e-commerce giant with a valuation exceeding 2 Billion Dollars. He also founded D.Light, a Solar Energy company where he raised over 490 Million Dollars.

Despite his professional success and wealth, Imudia struggled with depression and mental health issues, which ultimately led to his tragic passing. His story serves as a heartbreaking reminder that wealth and success do not guarantee happiness or immunity from mental health struggles.

His passing urges us to check on our neighbours, friends, and loved ones, regardless of their financial status or outward appearance.
