Hon. Babajimi Benson, the lawmaker representing Ikorodu federal constituency has awarded grants to 30 indigent students from Ikorodu Federal Constituency to support their studies at the Nigerian Law School.
The beneficiaries, who were selected from various public and private tertiary institutions, including Olabisi Onabanjo University, University of Ibadan, University of Lagos, and Lagos State University, among others, received the grants at Rep. Benson’s constituency office.
The grant, specially designed to support law graduates in pursuing legal education, aims to enhance human capital development and empower the next generation of leaders.
Rep. Benson expressed his commitment to education and empowerment, stating that the grant is part of his efforts to drive positive change in his constituency.
He also thanked members of the Eminent Personality in Ikorodu Division (EPID), led by Chairman Liaison Council, Alhaji Babatunde Rotinwa, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Chairman Igbogbo-Baiyeku LCDA, Builder Sesan Daini, and other stakeholders for their presence, which served as inspiration to the graduates.
This initiative is part of Rep. Benson’s broader efforts to support education and youth development in his constituency.
