By Nigerian contemporary Afrobeat singer, Burna Boy is officially out with a new single titled “Wonderful”.
On this track, the singer expresses how much he’s proud of his heritage. Burna Boy is staying true to his roots and he believes anywhere he goes, he still has to come back to his motherland. He also mentioned Adebayo Ogunlesi , in the part “As I dey hustle like Adebayo Ogunlesi”.
However, a Burna boy fan page @everythingburna wrote to clear doubts on who Burna Boy was referring to in his track.
It made a research on Adebayo Ogunlesi, revealing that he is the owner of Getwick Airport, the second busiest airport by total passenger traffic in the UK and 9th busiest in Europe. Ogunlesi is popularly referred to as The Man Who Bought Gatwick Airport in African business circles- a reference to a 2010 deal in which he led GIP’s $2.4 billion acquisition of London’s Gatwick Airport. Ogunlesi also led the company’s acquisition of London City Airport and Edinburgh Airport in 2006 and 2012, respectively.
Burna boy fans described the new jam as an educating and entertaining one , some even said his motivating them with the song.
