Helicopter Crash Claims Lives of Iranian President Raisi and Officials

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, along with all passengers aboard the ill-fated helicopter, tragically lost their lives in a devastating crash.

The accident claimed the lives of prominent figures, including Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian; Governor of Eastern Azerbaijan province, Malek Rahmati; Tabriz’s Imam, Mohammad Ali Alehashem; as well as the pilot, co-pilot, crew chief, head of security, and a bodyguard.

The helicopter crash, which occurred in East Azerbaijan province, involved President Ebrahim Raisi and his entourage, including Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.

Rescue teams faced challenging conditions in Iran and were unable to locate the President’s crashed helicopter on time due to the bad weather.

The aftermath of the crash has been compounded by the severity of the incident, with many bodies burnt beyond recognition, hindering the identification process.
