By Multi-Choice, the management of DSTV and GoTV have announced again a proposed plan to increase all its subscriptions across all bouquets, BlackBox Nigeria can report.
This new development was communicated to all its subscribers on Saturday, April 1st, and it is expected to take effect from May 1st, 2017.
In its text message, it was disclosed that the increase was based on its price adjustment which was not sighted earlier.
The text reads; “Dear DStv customer, due to a price adjustment, your Compact package fee has changed from N6,000 to N6,300 effective 1 May 2017.” and “Dear GOtv customer, due to a price adjustment, your GOtv Plus package fee has changed from N1,800 to N1,900 effective 1 May 2017”
This new price regime is coming days after the pay tv announced introduction of free four channels to its teeming audience. Its brand ambassador, Bright Okpocha had earlier informed that the gesture was as a result of staying tuned to the cable tv without the audience knowing the trick behind it.
Apparently, the newly introduced channel are been forced on the subscribers to pay for since there’s has been no significant price hike in essential commodities been used by the company.
