Nigerian skit maker, Sir Balo, has penned a heartfelt tribute to the late Nollywood icon, Mr. Ibu, who tragically passed away on March 2, 2024, following a cardiac arrest during surgery.
The news of Mr. Ibu’s demise has left an indelible mark on the hearts of many, especially those fortunate enough to have known him.
In a serendipitous encounter back in 2014, during an event, Sir Balo shared his aspiration to become a video editor.
Touched by Sir Balo’s determination, Mr. Ibu extended a helping hand, promptly purchasing Sir Balo’s very first laptop to nurture the young skit maker’s career.
Taking to social media, Sir Balo poured out his emotions, grappling with the question of why good people leave us too soon.
His heartfelt message resonates with countless admirers, who remember Mr. Ibu not only as a talented actor but also as a compassionate mentor.
