A community-based youth organisation, Oga Luminaries Ikorodu, on Thursday, December 24th 2020, organised a Medical Caravan at Itunwolo Community, in Ikorodu LGA.
The event, which featured medical tests, doctors’ consultation, health talks and distribution of drugs, had in attendance residents from various communities in Ikorodu, including the aged, youths, women, men and children.
The President of the club, Prince Ayomide Adeshina, while addressing the gathering, emphasized the importance of healthy living and hygiene and urged people to go for regular medical checkups, particularly their Blood Pressure (BP) as majority of the people have very high BP.
He also thanked the past leaders of the organization that made the project possible through their financial and human contributions, adding that the organization would continue to attend to the needs of the community.
Adeshina appreciated the medical team from Helping Hands Royals Hospital, Ikorodu and volunteers from Ovals Foundation for their support.
