By Graphic Footage Of Mob Beating Police Officer Who Allegedly Killed Student In Orile, Lagos
Chaos is currently being experienced in Orile area of Lagos after a Police officer allegedly shot and killed a student some hours ago.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that trouble started in the area after a trigger happy officer shot at a group of people and in the process killed an unnamed student. This act was said to have caused uproar as passerby protested against the shooting and chased the police officer to the Orile Police Station.
It was learnt that the officers started shooting to disperse the crowd which then caused some an angry mob to invade the police station, set it ablaze and also identified the officer that killed the student.
He was then dragged and mobbed by the angry crowd who had gathered in and around the Police Station. See below for the graphic footage from the mob action.
As at the time of filing this report, BlackBox Nigeria is yet to confirm if the #EndSARS protesters were at Orile before the shooting by the police officer, but update from Orile has it that thugs have taken over the streets with no Police officers in sight.
