Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has sworn in Otunba Oladipupo Oluwaloni as the new Chairman of the Ayobo Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA).

The swearing-in ceremony took place on Thursday, with Governor Sanwo-Olu charging the new chairman to prioritize the needs of the community and work closely with residents to achieve their vision for a greater Lagos.

“I encourage you to listen to and collaborate closely with the community, as you are there to serve them,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said. “Together, through unity, we can achieve our vision for a greater Lagos.”

BlackBox Nigeria earlier reported that following the death of the former chairman Bola Shobowale, after her prolonged illness, Oluwaloni Oladipupo took over as the acting chairman.

The appointment of Oluwaloni as the new chairman of Ayobo Ipaja LCDA is part of Governor Sanwo-Olu’s efforts to promote effective governance and community development throughout Lagos State.
