Why Governor Ambode’s commissioner resigned to work for PDP’s Jimi Agbaje
A huge blow has hit the camp of the ruling party in Lagos. According to reports, the Lagos State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Wale Oluwo has resigned his position and pitched tent with the People’s Democratic Party candidate in the state, Jimi Agbaje.
BlackBox Nigeria learnt that part of the reasons given by Mr. Oluwo for resigning is a lack of internal democracy within the ranks of the All Progressives Congress.
“I am quitting the APC because of the poor internal democracy in the party. The last primaries party which was characterised by imposition, violence and intimidation attested to the fact that APC does not follow democratic ideals,” Oluwo is quoted to have said.
