Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot Flying Officer, Tolulope Arotile has been honoured in a comic book.
The Minister of Youths and Sports, Sunday Dare, who made the disclosure in a Tweet, said the book “Girls Can Fly” was launched on Friday, in honor of Tolu as she represents the best Nigerian youths can attain.

The event was graced by the parents of the late combat pilot, the Minister of Information and Culture Lai Mohammed and a representative of the Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
Also present at the event themed ‘My Nigerian Dream’ was the Minister of Women Affairs Pauline Tallen.
Arotile died on July 14, at age 24 at the NAF base in Kaduna following an accident.
