The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamiala has appointed Dr. Charles Omole as his technical adviser on national security.
This was contained in a statement from the parliament on Thursday evening.
The London-based national security expert will serve as reform strategist to the Speaker on national security and intelligence reform.
Dr. Omole, as stated on his official website, is a world renowned expert in matters relating to good governance in national security operations, security sector reform, excellence in policing, and leadership development. He has worked in over 40 countries and advised many nations on reforms to security services.
