The Gail Sickle Initiative has invited sickle cell warriors, who are creatively inclined in Singing, drawing and playing musical instruments to its auditions and screening which commenced yesterday at the Sweet Sensation Conference Hall, 3 Opening road, Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos.
The ‘Gail Sickle initiative, is a registered non-governmental organization, established necessary for Nigerian sickle cell patients from all over the world to come together and culminate into the rescue of other warriors back home in Nigeria.
The Initiative explained that Most Nigerian sickle cell patients are victims of abject poverty and awful crisis that span from terrible aches in the bones and joints to sores that never heal and sometimes lead to death. Despite several researches and advancement in technology that has paved way to a better life for sickle cell patients; most patients in Nigeria still live in pains.
Blackbox Nigeria gathered that, the Gail Sickle Initiative had expressed their interest in bettering the lives of sickle cell patients with their Sickle Strong, partnership that works, sickle swag, single and married warrior, and sickle candle projects.
