By Leading automobile company, GAC Motors has been named as the ‘Youth Brand of the Year’ at the recently held second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards (LYA 2.0).
The event themed “The Disruptors” was held at Radisson Blu Hotel in the Ikeja area of Lagos on Friday, December 23, 2022.
GAC Motors clinched brand category after securing the highest number of public votes, beating other nominees such as Nigerian neobank Kuda Bank, popular noodles brand Indomie, and Infinix Nigeria.
Since its arrival into the Nigerian market several years ago, the company has committed to bringing ingenious design, superior quality, and advanced technology to the Nigerian people. It recently partened with the Lagos State Government for the LAGRIDE project, a government-sponsored ride-hailing platform.
Jubril Arogundade, the General Manager for Sales at GAC Motors Nigeria, received the award at the well-attended event.
Meanwhile, the Lagos Youth Awards is an initiative of BBN360, a Lagos-based thriving media company, to celebrate outstanding young people in the centre of excellence.
