Fountain University, Osogbo has appointed Mr. Sheriff Adenekan as its 4th substantive Registrar and Secretary to the Council of the University.
The appointment which takes effect immediately was made during the University Council emergency meeting held on Tuesday, 13 December 2022 at the University Senate Chamber.
By his appointment, Adenekan will be succeeding Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, who was the former Registrar of the University.
Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Amidu O. Sanni on behalf of Senate and the Management congratulate the Registrar and wish him success in office.
Adenekan was a product of the famous Baptist Boys” High School, Abeokuta, Unique Set of 84/90. He bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree (Hons) and Masters of Arts in Philosophy from the then Ogun State University now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye.
He is a member of relevant professional bodies, namely; Association of Nigerian Universities Professional Administrators (ANUPA) Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Institute of Corporate Affairs Management, and Association of University Administrators (AUA) UK.
