This year’s edition of the Lagos Youth Awards organized by BBN360, a Lagos-based media company, was indeed glamorous and intriguing.
The well-attended event, which rewarded young people who positively disrupted their different fields in 2022, was held at Radisson Blu Hotel in the Ikeja area of Lagos on Friday, December 23, 2022.
Tagged “The Disruptors”, this second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards honoured no fewer than 20 outstanding young persons drawn from different fields such as law, journalism, fashion, broadcasting, agriculture, technology and sports, among others.
The list include award-winning Nigerian investigative journalist, David Hundeyin, whose name went viral for his ‘Cornflakes for Jihad’ story; Eyitayo Ogunmola, CEO of Utiva, an educational technology company; and popular Nigerian singer, Fakoya Qudus Oluwadamilare popularly known as Qdot.
