Fulani Herdsmen Attack: Former Lagos CP, Fatai Owoseni Transferred To Troubled Benue
The former Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni has been formally transferred to Northern part of the country, Benue State.
Owoseni’s transfer is coming at a time Benue State has been under attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen militia group which have left tens of people dead and hundreds injured and displaced from their homes.
Prior to his replacement, while in Lagos, BlackBox Nigeria gathered that CP Owoseni was in the habit of complaining of lack of activities that would engage Police officers in fierce battle with men of the underworld. With his recent appointment, his call for fierce battle will be tackling the menace created by the Fulani herdsmen in the State.
It was gathered that his appointment to Benue State is with immediate effect.
