With time on her hands, she rediscovered her childhood passion for crocheting, which eventually became her ticket to the Governor’s office.
The 23 year old’s remarkable talent caught the attention of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, after she created a stunning crocheted jacket featuring his official portrait.
The beautiful art, which took 168 hours and 20,000 stitches to complete, is a testament to Eunice’s dedication and skill.
From a young girl learning to crochet in primary school to a budding entrepreneur, Eunice’s journey is one of resilience and determination.
Despite life taking her in different directions, she held onto her passion and honed her craft.
The Governor was impressed not only by Eunice’s talent but also by her story. He praised her for her hard work and encouraged young creatives in Lagos to pursue their passions.
“Your work matters. Your hands, your skills, your ideas, and your dreams are all part of what makes this state thrive,” he said.
Eunice’s visit to the Governor’s office is a heartwarming reminder that with perseverance and talent, anyone can achieve their goals.
