By French gymnast Samir Ait Said suffered a grotesque broken leg while performing on the vault. The immediate post-injury photo is terrifying.
According to Juliet Macur on Twitter, a loud snap was heard when Said landed.
Said was immediately stretchered off after the horrific injury.
