The Minister of Sports, Barrister Solomon Dalung was quoted last week saying that the members on Team Nigeria will fly to Rio in batches and that arrangements had been made with Ethopia Airline for there mobilization.
The Olympic games Kicks-off on Friday and four days to the global showpiece, Members of team Nigeria’s contigent are still stranded in Abuja awaiting their Mobilization.
Though the Honorable Minister has come out to debunk the claim, we can’t but remember the heartbreaking story that made its was to the press, suggesting that the Contigents will have to cover their ticket expenses if they want to represent the country in Rio. Who knows if that’s the reason for the delay?
