Founder of Ashake Foundation, Unilag Best Graduating Student, Cohbams Asuqou, Others Win JCI Youth Persons Award

 

Founder of Ashake Foundation, Mayowa Kuti-Adegbile, 2016 Best Graduating Student of University of Lagos, Ayodele Daniel Dada and ace music producer, Cobhams Asuquo have been awarded by the Junior Chamber International.

Seven other members of the non governmental organisation were also awarded the outstanding Young Persons in different categories.

It was gathered that the organisation honour and award it’s members who have been resourceful to other people in the society. The 10 individuals awarded this year are tagged 2017 JCI Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Nigeria.

While Mayowa of Ashake Foundation was awarded in the category of Humanitarian/Voluntary Leadership, Cobhams was awarded for Cultural Achievement and Dada got his award in the Academic Leadership /Accomplishment.

Others who got awarded include; Affiong Williams (Business, Economic and Entrepreneurial Accomplishment); Adepeju Jaiyeoba (Medical Innovation); Akomaye Peters-Benson (Moral/Environmental Leadership); Ukinebo Dare (Personal Achievement/Accomplishment); Oluyemi Ojo (Scientific/Technological Development); Mark Okoye II (Political, Legal/Government Affairs).
