By It appears the gale of defections rocking the main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has trickled down to the grassroots.
The Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Ikorodu LGA, Adinlewa Oluwafemi, has officially switched tents to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Adinlewa, a strong stalwart of the opposition party in Ikorodu, confirmed this development in a statement on Monday.
He said he joined the APC to contribute his quota to the development of Ikorodu Division, Lagos and the country at large, adding that his journey into the party was made possible by the efforts of Otunba Olasunkanmi Tijani (TJ) and Honourable Babajimi Benson, the lawmaker representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
While maintaining that his criticisms of the political leadership will remain firm despite his new political leanings, Adinlewa urged members of the public, particularly in Ikorodu, to register and join the APC.
