The historic journey included fellow passengers Carl Kuehner, Jim Sitkin, Leland Larson, Freddie Rescigno Jr., and Allie Kuehner.

Ahead of the flight, Salis described the mission as deeply symbolic.

“This mission is more than just a trip into space,” he said.

“It is a spiritual journey, a call to inspire future generations.”
