Maj.-Gen. Bernard Onyeuko, the former director of Defence Media Operations, has reportedly passed away.
Sources indicate that Onyeuko breathed his last at a private hospital in Abuja on Saturday morning.
The demise followed his sudden complaint of feeling unwell due to a bout of cold.
Rushed to the hospital for immediate medical attention, Onyeuko’s condition unfortunately deteriorated, leading to his untimely demise.
The late Onyeuko’s career was marked by his significant contributions to the Nigerian Army.
Regrettably, his service to the nation was cut short with his recent compulsory retirement.
This decision was made following the appointment of new service chiefs, prompting Onyeuko’s exit from the military.
