Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of a former Executive Chairman of Apapa Local Government, Honourable Ayodeji Joseph as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (Joint Ventures and Business Development) of the Lagos State development and property Cooperation (LSDPC).
Joseph was appointed alongside Mr Adeola Olusodo who is to serve as the Executive Director of the agency.
The Lagos State Head of service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, in a statement, stated the appointment was consequent upon the expiration of the tenure of the former MD/CEO of the agency, Arc. Haryusuph Dhikrullah Adedoyin Kayode.
Muri-Okunola explained that Honourable Ayodeji Joseph has served as a member of the House of Representatives between 2015 and 2019 and later, as Special Adviser to the Speaker House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, prior to his current appointment as MD/CEO LSDPC.
He also said the appointment of Mr Adeola Olusodo as Executive Director, Joint Venture & Business Development for LSDPC was in view of his capabilities and demonstrated commitment as the former General Manager, Joint Ventures in the agency.
The Head of Service added the appointment of both men stem from the Governor’s confidence in the duo’s wealth of experience and their demonstrated capacity to reposition LSDPC for the future.
Muri-Okunola stated that both appointments are with effect from Monday, November 15, 2021.
He said Governor Sanwo-Olu charged the duo to focus on improving service quality, adding that the mandate of the newly restructured Agency is critical to the continued prosperity of Lagos State and as such, a lot would be expected of them.
