FlexAago CEO, Toheeb Abolaji wins diaspora category at second Lagos Youth Awards

Toheeb Abolaji Alabi, the CEO of FlexAago has been honoured as the ‘Most Young Outstanding in Diaspora’ at the recently concluded second edition of the Lagos Youth Awards.

The event themed “The Disruptors” was held at Raddison Blu hotel, Ikeja on Friday, December 23, 2022.

Toheeb, a U.S.-based entrepreneur, emerged top of the category, beating other nominees: Peper-Hade Shoyemi, an activist and Dolapo Oluwa, a business analyst.

The Shomolu-born had his National Diploma in Business Administration from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, before proceeding to Lagos State University (LASU), where he bagged his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science.

He moved to the United States of America in late 2014 to pursue his Masters degree. On getting there, he delved into tech and now works as a Senior IT Risk and Compliance Professional at a Biotech Company.

The CEO of FlexAago – a company into the sales of wristwatches – is also the author of a best-selling book, “The Immigrant’s Quest”, a fictional story that exposes the travails of a Nigerian who traveled abroad in search of greener pastures.
