Five Star Music Lead Star, KCee Joins Race For Anambra State Governorship Seat
Kingsley Okonkwo popularly known by his stage name, Kcee has joined the list of contenders for the governorship tussle in Anambra State later this year.
This disclosure was made via the verified social media page of the entertainer stating that a big announcement will be made on August 8th.
Kcee is the lead star of Five Star Music, a record label that belongs to his junior brother, Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money). He has been active for over a decade when he debuted with his parter, Presh (Precious John).
The duo formerly under the name KcPresh won the first edition of Star Quest in 2002 and has been active since then before they split up.
After splitting, Kcee has been doing his Music business alone and has gotten several endorsement including the multi millionaire deal with telco giant, MTN and Peace Ambassador of Nigeria (awarded by former First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan).
Kcee, who hails from Uli in Anambra State now joins fellow entertainer, Yul Edochie who also made his declaration via the social media few days ago. They are both in the tussle against other contenders like the incumbent Governor, Mr Willie Obiano and a former Minister of Aviation, Mr Osita Chidoka.
