A fire outbreak has occurred at Fresh FM, one of Ibadan’s most popular radio stations, located in the Oyo State capital.
The incident was confirmed Friday evening by a staff member of the station via a post on his X handle, @Arugboboisi, where he called for urgent intervention from the Fire Service and pleaded with the public to notify the nearest fire station.
As of the time of this report, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and there is no official statement yet on the extent of damage or casualties.
Fresh FM, also known as Music House, is owned by renowned gospel singer and media entrepreneur, Yinka Ayefele.
The station has built a reputation for quality programming and has a large listenership across Oyo State and beyond.
Emergency responders are expected to arrive at the scene as efforts continue to contain the fire.
