FG Bans All International Flights As Nigeria Records New 10 Cases Of COVID19
The Federal Government moments ago announced that all international flights have been banned until further notice.
BlackBox Nigeria gathered that the new directive was as a result of 10 new persons that tested positive to the dreadful corona virus. It was reported that out of the 10 persons, 3 were in the nation’s capital, Abuja while the remaining 7 are in Lagos.
In a tweet, Bashir Ahmad who is the Personal Assistant on New Media to the President disclosed that the aggressive measure was as a result of increased risk posed by the international flights andyo prevent a possible outbreak of the virus. He also stated that exceptions will be given to emergency and essential flights only.
An online source disclosed that 9 out of the new cases came into the country via a British Airways flight that landed in Lagos on March 13th.
