Femi Kuti Unveils Tracklist Of 10th Studio Album, Preaches Against Racism
New contemporary Afrobeat Legend and four-time Grammy nominee, Femi Kuti has unveiled the Tracklist of his tenth studio album.
The list which consists of 12 tracks had “One People One world”, where the Afrobeat king calls for the unification of the human race and preached against racism as the lead track.
The album according to Femi, was produced by his longtime producer, Sodi and the entire Positive Force band worked mostly in Lagos and France.
To announce the tracks, BlackBox Nigeria gathered, the lead track, ‘One People One World’ was released online as a single.
It will be recalled that Femi Kuti serves as a spokesperson for United Nations’ International Children’s Educational Fund (UNICEF), advocating for children’s rights, promoting and educating vulnerable people on HIV/AIDS’ prevention.
When asked about his expectation on the album Femi said he hopes the album brings joy and peace to people around the world.
“I hope this album brings joy, love, equal opportunity, justice, peace, understanding and togetherness to the world.”
The twelfth track album is expected to be released on February 23, 2018, by Knitting Factory Records.
