Femi Adebayo, known for his impressive acting prowess and familial ties to veteran actor Adebayo Salami, popularly referred to as Oga Bello, unveiled that the magnitude of ‘Jagun Jagun’ required significant resources.
Drawing from his resources, he ingeniously capitalized on the success of his previous film, ‘Ageshinkole’, to channel funds into his ambitious new project.
However, the extent of Adebayo’s dedication and commitment went beyond merely leveraging his movie’s proceeds.
He revealed that he made the tough decision to part ways with some of his properties, a personal sacrifice to ensure the movie’s quality and grandeur remained uncompromised.
The financial contribution of selling properties, combined with the returns from ‘Ageshinkole’, contributed to the substantial budget required for ‘Jagun Jagun’, which reportedly incurred costs in the billions of naira.
‘Jagun Jagun’, is a testament to Adebayo’s unwavering determination and creative vision, which captivate audiences with its unique narrative and compelling performances.
Femi Adebayo said,
“Jagun Jagun is a multi-billion-naira project and I cannot say the exact amount I spent on shooting it.
“I used the proceeds of Ageshinkole to produce Jagun Jagun. I was working on it not getting funded by finance houses and individuals.
“At a point, I was out of finance and because I had faith that the project would work, I sold my properties.”
