On a cool Wednesday afternoon at Eko Boys fortress, Ghetto Light FC scored a late equaliser to rescue a 1 – 1 draw against Peace FA.
The away side drew first blood in the first half as goal keeper Rahmon Kehinde was unable to hold an outside shot that directed towards him and the rushing striker fired home the rebound.
For the second game on the bounce Ghetto Light FC’s under 17 side went behind heading into the second half. Having experienced a similar scenario is their previous game against Zik FA.
The home team later came to the party in the second half creating a number of goal scoring opportunities but still didn’t convert them.
When the visitors began to believe that they could actually run away with a win in the game, stand in captain Fayemi John picked up the pieces out of a scrappy defending by the Peace FA defense line to rescue a late equaliser for the Ghetto ballers.
The game ended in a stalemate but the equaliser meant Ghetto Light FC under 17 side has extended their unbeaten run to five matches post covid.
The team has now registered victory over Future Stars, Onemco FC and Zik FA and a score draw against Lyon Blessing and Peace FA since the relaxation of the Covid 19 stay at home.
