Nigeria’s Super Eagles Captain and championship side Middlesbrough midfielder, John Obi Mikel, is set to be a free agent as his short contract with the Smoggies he joined under the short-term deal after leaving Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda in January has lapsed.
The 32-year-old though put up a quite impressive performance during his short stay with the side by making 18 appearances and scoring 1 goal has not been offered any further contract.
