The family of Late popular Nollywood legend, Chief Dr. Kehinde Segun Akiremi, popularly known as Chief Kanran, has released details of his burial arrangements following his passing on Friday, August 15, 2025.
In a statement, the family expressed gratitude to God for a life well spent, describing the deceased as a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and in-law.
Chief Kanran, widely respected in his community, as an Apostle, father and actor, was celebrated for his contributions to culture and public life.
According to the programme, the wake keep will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., followed by an Artiste Night on the same day at 8:00 p.m.
The funeral service is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2025.
Earlier, BlackBox Nigeria reported that he revealed during an interview about how he lost two of his wives on a same day, one to a cancer and other to a suspected spiritual attack.
Friends, associates, and members of the public are invited to join the family in honouring the life and legacy of Chief Kanran.
