FA Cup Final: Prince William, Others Lay Wreath In Respect Of Manchester Victims

President of England’s Football Association, Prince William was moment ago joined by other top government officials as they lay wreath in respect of victims of the explosion that rocked the Manchester Arena on Monday.

The wreaths were laid before the kick off of the FA Cup Final match between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium.

It will be recalled that explosion disrupted the Ariana Grande concert which had majority of teenagers at the Arena.

Apart from laying of wreath, a minute of silence was also observed for the death victims as thoughts were shared with their loved ones.

The players are also using a black armband to honour the victims.

As at the time of filing this report, the Gunners are in early lead after Alex Sanchez converted his early chance into a controversial goal that got the referee and his assistant talking for a while before awarding it.
