The last is yet to be heard about the recent trip of People’s Democratic Party Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku to the United States of America as latest updates has it that the former Vice President lobbied his way into the “God’s own country”
According to an American journalist, Judd Legum, Atiku who have been banned from gaining visa into America showed up at Trump Hotel in Washington DC last Thursday after he signed a deal worth $1.1m with President Donald Trump lobbyist, Brian Ballard.
It will be recalled that PDP’s candidate, Atiku made several headlines on Thursday after the news of his America trip hit the social media. The news was first made public by veteran journalist, Dele Momodu. In the wake of the news, rumours had it that the former VP was listed as an aide to Senate President, Senator Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
With Judd’s revelation, it is apparent that Atiku as earlier speculated didn’t travel as an aide to the US but as an individual as he had a private session with the Chamber of Commerce and Nigerians in diaspora resident in Washington.
