By Exclusive! Video Of Truck With Leaking Gas Content Before Abule Ado Explosion
New updates has confirmed that the explosion experienced yesterday in Abule Ado was caused by a leaking truck transporting gas (LPG) abandoned by the driver.
According to a BlackBox Nigeria source who had recorded the scene moment before the explosion, a truck loaded with gas started leaking and the unknown truck driver out of fear abandoned the truck and took to his heels. Unknown to the driver, the truck was left on one of NNPC pipeline which was a supply link to the nearby gas station.
Within few minutes and before emergency services were contacted, the tank exploded right on the NNPC pipeline thereby causing the loud bang heard and felt in and around Lagos State.

While several buildings nearby the gas station were affected by the explosion, Bethlehem College, a Catholic boarding school almost sharing a fence with the gas station was seriously damaged leaving several students injured and the Principal, Sr Henrietta Alokha died after rescuing some of the students.
