Exclusive! First Secondary School In Awolowo, Osinbajo’s Home Town In Terrible State (Pictures)

The Ogun State United High School, Ikenne-remo is reportedly delapidating as it has become less conducive for pupils to learn.

Blackbox Nigeria learnt that the state owned secondary school, which is located in the hometown of Pa Obafemi Awolowo, was established January 27, 1956.

Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the late Premier of the Western Region, between 1954 and 1959, scored several firsts during his premiership as he introduced free primary education in 1955.

However, the free education policy as pushed by Pa Owolowo has become equivocal following the state of the United High School.

The Ogun State High School, which is the first to be established in the state, is also housed by the hometown of current Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, as this poses another big question over the state of the school.
