Former Super Falcons goalkeeper Precious Dede has announced the joyful birth of quadruplets after many years of waiting, delighting fans and followers across Nigeria and beyond.
The 46-year-old football icon shared the happy news on her Instagram page on Sunday, saying the arrival of four children two boys and two girls is a “proof that delay is not denial.”
She described the moment as a miracle and expressed gratitude for what she called “four precious blessings at once.”
In her message, Dede wrote that “years of prayers, tears, and hope… now turned into four miracles,” and celebrated how “God didn’t just answer… He overdelivered.”
Dede enjoyed a distinguished career with the Nigerian women’s national team, earning more than 90 caps for the Super Falcons and representing Nigeria at multiple FIFA Women’s World Cup tournaments and Olympic Games before retiring from international football in 2016.
The announcement has attracted warm reactions from fans and sports figures alike, celebrating both her impressive legacy in football and this personal milestone in her life.
