Black Tuesday for the Nigerian football community as former Super Eagles midfielder, Justice Christopher, reportedly died at 40.
It was reported that Christopher slumped at his hotel complex in Jos, Plateau State on Tuesday and was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
Late Christopher played for Nigeria national football team and was a participant at the 2002 FIFA World Cup and held eleven caps. He last played club football for Nasarawa United.
He played for several clubs, including Katsina United, Sharks F.C., Bendel Insurance FC, Antwerp FC (Belgium), Levski Sofia (Bulgaria), Trelleborgs FF (Sweden), Alania Vladikavkaz in Russia and Herfølge BK in Denmark.
