By Abayomi Kinyomi, a former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, is dead.
Report has it that Kinyomi breathed his last on Tuesday night at a private hospital in the Festac area of Lagos where he was receiving treatment for a brief illness. He was aged 82.
The late politician served as the Lagos Assembly between January, 1992 to November 1993 during the administration of former governor, late Sir Micheal Otedola.
Kinyomi’s remains would be buried on Wednesday, in accordance with Islamic rites.
The deceased is survived by a wife, children and grandchildren.
