Evil tenant beats landlady for giving him eviction notice

Kabiru Tajudeen has been arrested for beating his landlady to a pulp for giving him eviction notice from her house.

The issue which occurred in Meiran area of Alimosho, Lagos saw Kabiru Tajudeen, a 30-year-old beat up his landlady, Mrs Omowunmi Omoroga for giving him quit notice. The incident happened on Sunday April 1, 2018.

The culprit has now been dragged before a magistrate court where he is being charged for assault.

The prosecutor, Inspector Raji Akeem disclosed that the suspect descended on the victim after she asked him about when he will be moving out of the apartment.

He said, “A fight ensued between them when the complainant asked the accused when he would pack out. The accused beat the complainant to a pulp, and she was rushed to a hospital by some other tenants,”
Kabiru who pleaded not guilty was granted bail in the sum of N50,000 by Chief Magistrate Jadesola Adeyemi-Ajayi.
