John Mikel Obi, a former Nigerian midfielder, has went online to describe what Jose Mourinho is like after losing games.
The superstar footballer played for the Portuguese at Chelsea after the Premier League club signed him in 2006 after which he went on to play 119 games under Mourinho across two different spells.
He explained how Mourinho would ignore everyone after a bad result in an interview with Obi One podcast recently.
He said: “With Mourinho, as long as you’re winning, you’re fine.
“As long as you’re playing well, you’re his best friend. As long as everything is going well, you guys are good. I remember that whenever we lost an important game, he would stay upstairs in his office for a couple of days.”
The popular player said: “He wouldn’t come down to the training ground; he doesn’t say a word to anybody. You greet him in the morning, and he walks past you. He doesn’t even come to the restaurant. You don’t see him for a couple of days until we go back to the pitch and win again.”
